Born in Kyoto, Japan. She began studying the clarinet at the age of fourteen with Makoto Yoshida and later studied under Kenji Matsumoto at the Tokyo College of Music High School, before moving to Europe.
Since 2018, she has studied at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU), where she considers the world-renowned clarinetist Florent Héau to be her principal mentor, shaping both her musical foundation and artistic direction. After completing her master’s degree, she continued her studies as a postgraduate researcher under Pascal Moraguès, principal clarinetist of the Orchestre de Paris. She has also received guidance from the late Peter Schmidl, former principal clarinetist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
She has received prizes at several national and international competitions. Her performance activities have taken her to France, Switzerland, Romania, Israel, Mexico, and other countries, including chamber music concerts at the Château de Fontainebleau. In 2019, she participated in a concert tour in Romania, performing at historic venues such as Peleș Castle. In 2022, she took part in a music festival held in Jerusalem.
She is also deeply engaged in contemporary music. In 2021, she gave the Japanese premiere of Clairière by Louis Naon, which received critical acclaim. In 2023, a concert she performed in Switzerland was broadcast on radio, and later that year she gave her first solo recital in Japan.
In addition to her performance career, she is the founder and organizer of the Japan tour of the international music project Wanderlust. The project aims to connect people across borders, languages, and cultures through music, and has been developed in collaboration with internationally active artists including baritone Benjamin Appl, pianist Jorge Viladoms, violinist Mayuko Ishigami, and composer Jaeduk Kim. In Japan, the project has included free concert invitations for children facing difficult circumstances, as well as participatory initiatives in collaboration with Ritsumeikan Elementary School and the High School of Music attached to Kunitachi College of Music.
In 2026, she will take part in a Wanderlust concert in Guadalajara, Mexico, engaging with local children through workshops and musical exchange activities.
Believing in the power of music to reconnect individuals and society, she continues to pursue her artistic work alongside international projects that seek to open new possibilities through shared musical experience.
